Noah Archibald
Truro, NS
6'0", 185 lbs
19, Forward

Bearcat-of- the-Week honours went to fourth year Bearcat, Noah Archibald. He picked up a pair of second period goals which took the stuffing from the visiting Amherst Ramblers, giving Truro two wins in as many starts against those rivals. Playing 200 foot game along the right side had been his forte, chipping when the opportunity arises.

He got his hockey start in the Truro and Area Minor Program, working his way through the classifications to the Bantam level where he suited up for two productive seasons with the Truro Major Bantams. Next up was a single season with the Pictou County Weeks Midgets. At the end of that season (2014), he was selected as a Bearcat Territorial and drafted, as well, by the Moncton Wildcats. After two seasons learning the junior game with the Bearcats, he sat on the DL last year for all but 19 regular season games. Clearly hes looking to make up for lost time and is willing to do whatever called upon to contribute. He provides a physical presence in a shutdown role.

The Bearcats are hosting a Skate-With- the-Bearcats session following the November 25 game against the Lumberjacks.

The Annual Teddy Bear Toss will be held on Wednesday, November 29, during the Bearcat-Mariner game. All Teddy Bears will be donated to the Christmas Index.

Tonight the South Shore Lumberjacks are in town for a 7:00 start against the Bearcats.

Saturday, the Woodstock Slammers will be at the RECC to face the Bearcats 7:00 pm.

Sunday, Truro is in Amherst for a 2:00 start with the Ramblers.
