Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to first-year Bearcat, Tristan Therrien. In Friday’s 5-3 win over South Shore he scored a pair of goals to lead the way. He brings the club experience and a deep skillset.
He came up through the Nord Selects Bantam AA Program in Saint-Jerome, QC, advancing to the AAA Level. He came East to attend Newbridge Academy for the 2017 – 2018 and 2018 – 2019 seasons. Last year, he suited up with the Saint Jerome Junior Panthers, displaying solid playmaking skills. The Bearcats acquired his rights from the Steinbach Pistons (Manitoba) in the off-season. He brings plenty to the table.
